Empties #3

My third set of empties!

As previously stated, if I don't have a mini-review down below, then I have already or am going to make a more in-depth review/post about that item!

Here are my Empties #3:

Bonvivant Botanical Mellow Clay Mask
Ettang Modeling Take-Out Cup Pack Propolis
Holika Holika Cheoeum : Balhyo Miracle Seed First Essence
Holika Holika Prime Youth Bird's Nest Gold Moisture Cream
IOPE Live Lift Serum
Mamonde Rose Water Soothing Gel
Mizon Enjoy Fresh - On Time Sweet Honey Mask
Neogen Code9 Tox Tightening Pack
Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Cream
Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray (Read my thoughts on this here: http://mbhbeauty.blogspot.com/2016/10/empties-1.html)

Bonvivant Botanical Mellow Clay Mask Jeju Volcanic Mask

I got this as a kit of 3 clay masks for "rainbow masking" on hautelook for around $30. This was one of three clay masks. This clay mask specifically targets blackhead, oil production, and pore control. The mask is a jelly like consistency and feels cool when applying to the face. It doesn't dry out the skin and does a decent job at helping with clearing up the skin.  Overall, it’s a good clay mask. Just keep in mind, that Bonvivant has now been rebranded to I Dew Care. So if you want to try this mask get the I Dew Care Pure To The Pore Mask.

Ettang Modeling Take-Out Cup Pack Propolis

This is 1 of 8 cup packs. I believe the whole set cost about $26 dollars. I used this because I was having a problem with some breakouts at the time. Propolis has good anti-inflammatory properties and helps with healing problematic skin. You're supposed to mix water into the cup and use the spatula that's provided to apply it on the skin. The product has a more paste like consistency. It was difficult to apply  to the skin and dried to a rubery texture. Although this specific cup helped with reducing redness during my breakouts, I really didn't like the way it applied to my skin and felt. I'm not going to be repurchasing these.

Holika Holika Cheoeum : Balhyo Miracle Seed First Essence

I got this as a sample when I went to Korea. I love this stuff. I'm definitely going to have to purchase the full size of this. This essence smells lovely, feels nice on the skin, hydrates, and helped with the texture of my skin.

Mamonde Rose Water Soothing Gel

I got this at an Aritaum shop in San Gabriel for about $20. I ended up using this as a body moisturizer during the summer. It worked okay, but didn't absorb well and was sticky after it dried. It smelled like roses, but there is also an overwhelming smell of rubbing alcohol. I love some of the Mamonde Rose line, but this is not one of the products I will be repurchasing.

Neogen Code9 Lemon Green Caviar Essence Tox Tightening Pack

I got this in a bundle when memebox used to sell skin care. This has 25 dual ended pads. One side was like a netted mesh that helped with exfoliating and the other side was more of a smooth cotton surface that helped distribute the product onto your face. This particular pack smelled of lemon. I really liked these a lot for the nights that I was lazy or short on time with my skin care. This provides you benefits of a more elaborate skin care system in one single step. I will definitely repurchase from Neogen eventually.

Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Cream

I picked this up at Ross on a whim one day for like $7. It was fall/winter time and my body tends to dry out a significant amount. This is a very fragrant and thick cream. It is definitely a heavy duty moisturizer and a little goes a long way. However, because of the strong perfume scent, I didn't really enjoy this product as much and won't be repurchasing.

Mamonde Rose Water Toner:

This toner cost me about 15 dollars on ebay. The toner comes in a pretty translucent bottle and contains 150 mL. This toner works well and smells like roses. I adore anything rose scent, so I love this toner and will repurchase this in the future. However, if you don't like anything with  a rose scent, this is not for you.

Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive:

I can't remember how much I paid for this. I know for sure it was between $5-10 dollars at Target. This moisturizer works okay. For me, it's a bit too watery and I find that it takes a while for the product to absorb into my skin.  Because this just works okay  for me, I'm not going to repurchase this.

Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner:

I purchased this for about $12-13 dollars at Sephora. This bar smells great and works very well at removing makeup from your brushes. It took me about 2 years to finish this whole thing up. I will repurchase this in the future after I run out of the other bar cleanser I've been using.

Empties #1

Introducing my Empties series! Basically, I collect a bunch of the empty products I've used up and put a mini review about some of the products.

If I don't have a mini review on some of the products, it's because I have already or will eventually be posting a more in-depth/detailed review on the product, so stay tuned!

Here are my Empties #1:

Empty Products

AcneFree Drying Lotion
Banilla Co Clean it Zero
Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence
Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner
L'oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum
Missha Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream
Missha Geum Sul Vitalizing Eye Cream
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in No. 27
Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence
Mizon All In One Snail Cream
Mizon All In One  Snail Ampoule
Mizon Night Repair Ampoule
Nature Republic Cotton Armpit Kit
Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray

Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner:

Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner
I bought this toner on Amazon for 12 dollars. I've used up 2-3 bottles.  This toner comes with a pump and feels nice on the skin. It also remove impurities if I happened to miss any after cleansing. Other than those two benefits, I didn't notice any drastic changes or improvements on my skin, so I won't be repurchasing this.

L'oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum:

L'oreal Youth Code Serum
I know I purchased this a few times, but at different places.  They retail for about $20.00. I bought this while it was on sale or I had a coupon for Ulta, I can't exactly how much I got this for. It's great because it has a pump, but you can't actually open the bottle up. I found that a bit annoying because as you can see, there is still product left over that I would've like to use. This smells really  nice and applies very silky smooth over the skin. I did notice that using this helped with my skin texture. I haven't repurchased this in a very long time and probably won't anymore because I'm relatively happy with my current skin care routine.

Mizon All in One Snail Repair Cream:

Mizon All in One Snail Cream
I've repurchased this a few times, I typically pay around 18 dollars on ebay for the bigger 120mL size compared to the normal 75mL size. I really like this as my night time moisturizer for the non-winter months. During winter, I felt like it wasn't enough for my skin. Other than that, it hydrated my skin and helped with smoothing out my skin/helping with texture. I'll eventually repurchase this, I'm just trying out other moisturizers at the moment.

Mizon All in One Snail Ampoule:

Mizon All in One Snail Ampoule
I got this for $12 on ebay. This ampoule was a nice consistency and spread nicely over my face. There's really not much of a scent to this. It was a good moisturizing component to my skin care, but other than that I really didn’t see any difference with this ampoule. I won't be repurchasing.

Mizon Night Time Repair Ampoule:

Mizon Night Time Repair Ampoule
I got this for around $13 on ebay. Essentially I felt the same way about this ampoule as I did with the Mizon All in One Sail Ampoule.  Good for moisturizing, but didn't see much results. Won't be repurchasing

Nature Republic Cotton Arm Pit Kit:

Nature Republic Cotton Arm Pit Kit
I purchased this kit on Amazon for around $14 dollars. This kit is a simple two step system, which includes using a  scrub and that you wash out, followed by a cream. The scrub has microbeads that help exfoliate your underarms and the cream is moisturizing, but not too thick where it feels sticky or heavy. Both products are white and smell of a clean linen scent that wasn't too overpowering. Unfortunately, I didn't see too much lightening of my underarms. It did smooth out and soften my underarms slightly, but it wasn't the results I was hoping for, especially considering the price. I will not repurchase this product.

Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray:

Tresemme Thermal Creations
I always use this when I apply heat to my hair. This is probably my third or fourth bottle that I've repurchased and I typically pay between $5-6 for it. The nozzle sprays the product evenly, it smells nice, and it never weighs my hair down or makes it greasy. This is a must in my opinion and I will always repurchase.
