Directions:

  1. Open the packet up.
  2. Unfold the mask inside.
  3. Place mask on face, making sure to place the holes in the mask to your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  4. Leave on for 20 minutes.
  5. Take off mask, tap the essence of the mask into your skin to absorb. Do not rinse.

Review:

I picked these sheet masks up at TJ MAXX. It came in a pack of 10 for about 7 or 8 dollars.  The  sheet mask has a picture of a volcano and a gray statue. The statue reminds me of grade school when I learned about the Olmecs... I wonder if they teach those kind of things at school still? Anyway, here's what the mask looks like:

The sheet mask is made of a thick, sturdy, and soft material, which was surprising because usually masks like these are more expensive. It was saturated in essence and felt nice and cooling on my face. The essence smelled like flowers. It wasn't super overpowering and I enjoyed the scent.

Generally, sheet masks always make my skin feel more hydrated and plump. I do notice that with certain sheet masks, it can leave my skin feeling slightly sticky and overly moisturized. I think the "overly moisturized" part has to do with the fact that I have oily combo skin. However, the Jeju Volcanic Mask provided a good balance of hydration. The essence absorbed nicely into my skin, made it feel hydrated, but didn't leave me feeling sticky after.

I paid close attention to my skin the next day. I wanted to see if the mask did in fact control sebum. I noticed that the day after I use these masks, my face was not as oily as it usually is. In regards to my pores, I really didn’t notice a difference when using these mask. But like I said earlier, this mask adds a good balance of hydration to the face, so I think it would still be good for all skin types, even dry ones.

Although this was a good mask, the way the mask was shaped/cut made it difficult to fit properly on my face.  It got kind of bothersome that it didn't fit on my face and I had to keep readjusting it. Because of that reason, I really don't think I'll be repurchasing the masks. I just have other masks that I like a lot better and that fit better.

Overall:

Pros:
Cons:
*decent quality for the price
*provides balance of moisture to the face
*absorbs nicely into the skin
*controls oil
*smells nice
*don't notice a difference in pores
*sheetmask cut out makes it difficult to fit over face

Mamonde Pore Deep Clean Foam Cleansing

What is it for?

Pore cleansing foam with deep cleansing for oily pores for soft skin. Micro scrub granule help to remove blackhead on nose area. Bentonite extract removes sebum, deep cleanses pores and impurities. Water lily extract and eco-cert organic certified lavender extract, protects, and soothes skin.

Active Ingredients:

Lavender flower water, nelumbo nucifera, bentonite

I tried to look up this product at www.cosdna.com, but couldn't find it listed.

Directions:

  1. Squeeze pea size amount and lather into hands
  2. Massage all over face.
  3. Rinse with warm water.

Review:

Like I mentioned, I got this off of amazon and cost about $12.00. The cleanser is a  pretty pale teal/green tube with 175mL of product.
Mamonde Pore Deep Clean Foam Front
The product came out in a thick consistency and was a purple greyish color. The scent was what I assume was the lavender in the product. To be honest, I wasn't in love with the scent. I'm sure it probably smells good to other people, but for me personally, I thought it smelled okay.
For cleansers, I usually grab a small amount in my hands, rub it in my hands to create a nice lather, and then gently massage it into my face.  A little goes a long way for this product. I only needed a pea size amount to clean my entire face. This product gave a good and foamy lather, which I really like and typically look for in my cleansers.

"Swatch" of cleanser on hand. If you look closely, you can see a few of the beads.

What the cleanser looks like after using water and rubbing to lather it up.

You will notice upon lathering  that there are granules within the cleanser. The beads helped with exfoliating and smoothing out the skin. The beads are  harsh on my skin if I don't lather it in your hands first and then apply it to the face.  This cleanser really deep cleaned my skin. It removed ALL traces of dirt and makeup and gave a squeaky clean feeling without stripping away the moisture from my skin and making it dry.

There are good things about the product, but I won't repurchase this after I'm done. It does the job of cleaning your face, but it didn't wow me enough for me to make another purchase.

Overall:

Pros:
Cons:
*a little goes a long way, so this will last you a while
*deep cleans your skin
*doesn't strip away moisture from skin
*lathers up nicely

*wasn't a fan of the smell

Memebox: #Sheetfaced for 100 days Vault Box

I meant to post this right away after I got this, but I never got around to it until now. But better late than never right? I've been dying to try everything in this box, but I've refrained from until I wrote this blog post! :P

During Black Friday weekend, Memebox released a variety of vault boxes. These boxes contained Kbeauty products and makeup for a fraction of the price.  There were a total of four boxes, but the one I wanted the most was the #Sheetfaced for 100 Days Vault Box. This box contained 100 sheet masks valued at $203, but cost $80 without tax.  During the time of the sale, Memebox included a code for 10% off, so using the coupon I paid $77.40 after tax.

Don't get me wrong, it is still a pretty penny, but breaking down the cost, it is less than $1 for good quality sheet masks! Totally worth it IMO, especially since I go through a ton of sheet masks.

I ordered the box on November 25th and it arrived on December 6th, which isn't that bad of a waiting time. I always expect things to be super delayed when I purchase them during Black Friday.

All the sheet masks come in a large box:

It's not Memebox without the pink shipping straw!

Empties #2

My second set of products I've used up! As previously stated, if I don't have a mini-review down below, then I have already or am going to make a more in-depth review/post about that item!

Here are my Empties #2:

AcneFree Drying Lotion (x2)
Banilla Co Clean it Zero (Read my review here: http://mbhbeauty.blogspot.com/2016/10/banilla-co-clean-it-zero.html)
Innisfree Super Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (Read my review here: http://mbhbeauty.blogspot.com/2016/09/innisfree-jeju-volcanic-pore-cleansing.html)
Mamonde Rose Water Toner
Missha Line Friends Essence Sun
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in No. 27 (Read my review  here: http://mbhbeauty.blogspot.com/2016/09/missha-bb-perfect-cover-bb-cream.html)
Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream
Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence
Mizon Collagen 100
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive
Scinic Snail All Day Ampoule
Scinic Snail Matrix Cream
Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner
Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel (Read my review here: http://mbhbeauty.blogspot.com/2016/10/tony-moly-floria-brightening-peeling-gel.html)
Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray (Read my thoughts on this here: http://mbhbeauty.blogspot.com/2016/10/empties-1.html)

Mamonde Rose Water Toner:

This toner cost me about 15 dollars on ebay. The toner comes in a pretty translucent bottle and contains 150 mL. This toner works well and smells like roses. I adore anything rose scent, so I love this toner and will repurchase this in the future. However, if you don't like anything with  a rose scent, this is not for you.

Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer SPF 15 Sensitive:

I can't remember how much I paid for this. I know for sure it was between $5-10 dollars at Target. This moisturizer works okay. For me, it's a bit too watery and I find that it takes a while for the product to absorb into my skin.  Because this just works okay  for me, I'm not going to repurchase this.

Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner:

I purchased this for about $12-13 dollars at Sephora. This bar smells great and works very well at removing makeup from your brushes. It took me about 2 years to finish this whole thing up. I will repurchase this in the future after I run out of the other bar cleanser I've been using.

Pearl Front

Review:

There is no difference with the quality of the sheet masks between the different types. The sheet mask are made from a cotton material and are thick. They applied relatively smoothly and softly on the face. It's not the roughest sheet mask I've tried, but it definitely isn't the softest either. But considering that each mask cost only $1, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the masks. Each sheet mask was soaked with essence and felt very cooling on the face.

The smell did differ between the sheet masks. The White C Pack smelled like citrus, the Ginseng mask smelled like ginseng, the collagen and pearl mask smelled like a fragrant lotion, and the Tea Tree masked smelled like tea tree/pine scent. Most of the sheet mask smelled nice and not overpowering, but I personally didn't care for the ginseng scent because I really don't like that scent in general.

In terms of skin benefits, each sheet mask had a purpose, but the mask that I felt really did something different for my skin was the Tea Tree masks. I used the Tea Tree mask when I had a some redness due to a few blemishes and I noticed that it calmed my skin. All the other masks were good for hydration, but I didn't notice any other benefits. The essence also absorbed into the skin well and did not feel sticky.

These sheet masks were decent because of how inexpensive they were. I'm glad I got to try them, but I won't be repurchasing them because there are other sheet masks that I like more.

Overall:

Pros:
Cons:
*cooling on skin
*moisturized skin
*smells nice (depending on smell)
*inexpensive
*absorbed nicely, didn't feel sticky

* smell can be troublesome (depending on mask, in my case it was the ginseng mask that bothered me)
*besides tea tree mask, didn't notice any other benefits from the masks aside from hydration

Missha Misa Geum Sul Vitalizing Eye Cream

What is it for?

Eye cream to treat signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles.

Active Ingredients:

Ginseng Water, Wild Ginseng Extract, Deer Antler Extract, and Reishi Mushroom Extract

To look at the full list of ingredients, its function for each, and its safety/irritant levels go ahead and click on this website: http://cosdna.com/eng/cosmetic_f050167273.html

Directions:

  1. After moisturizing face, take small amount and use finger to dab under eyes until fully absorbed.
  2. Can be used for fine lines and wrinkles around lip area.

Review:

Just to start off, this eye cream is quite pricey. On the Missha US website, this eye cream costs $45.00! You could find this for cheaper at other places like amazon or ebay, but it is still a pretty penny for this product.

It's super pretty and lux packaging! There is a heavy feel to product.
(Don't mind my reflection from the bottle :P)
There is 30mL of product and it comes in GORGEOUS gold packaging. The feeling and weight of the packaging is heavy and lux! I absolutely love how this looks and feels. A plastic spatula is provided with the product, but I threw it away, along with the outside box. This could get a little unsanitary if you're constantly dipping your fingers into the product.

The product inside!

The eye cream is thick in consistency, so a little goes a very long way. Seriously, one jar lasted me a whole year! The interesting thing about this eye cream is that it contains flecks of gold that dissolve once you tap it into your skin. The eye cream is very moisturizing  and nourishing. I can't say much for the fine lines and wrinkles around the lip area because I strictly used this for the eyes.

Swatch of eye cream. If you look closely (where the tiny arrow is pointing to),
you'll notice a fleck of gold. I'm not quite sure what it is made of, but they're
incorporated throughout the eye cream.

Everything blends out and absorbs beautifully. If you compare
my hands in the above picture compared to this picture,
you'll notice how much more hydrated my hands look!
This eye cream is great! During the time I purchased this, I had some major panda eyes because of all the stress, finals, and late nights at school. It got so bad in fact, that I had people mention to me about why my eyes were SO dark and puffy. At the time I was using Clinique All About Eyes cream and it did nothing for me. I used up all that eye cream and so I purchased this Missha one and started using it. After about two-three weeks of constant use morning and night, my eyes definitely got less dark and I started to look normal again! There was some reduction in the smaller wrinkles under my eyes.  However,  these results were when I was using the eye cream religiously day and night. I've been kind of bad about it lately, so my dark circles have kinda crept up again!

Yes, this eye cream is on the pricier side, but this product lasts for a very long time and it works well. I definitely recommend this product. I've repurchased this product and will probably continue to do so!

Overall:

Pros:
Cons:
*a little goes a very long way/lasts for a long time
*luxurious packaging
*great thick eye cream, especially at night
*works well for reducing dark circles
*expensive
*can be unsanitary because of packaging

Missha Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream Cherry Blossom

What is it for?

Cleansing cream that removes makeup residue and impurities.

Active Ingredients:

On the Missha website, it doesn’t really specify any active ingredients, only that there is cherry blossom extract in the product.

On cosdna.com there isn't a list for the cleansing cream in cherry blossom, but on the Missha website, they list the ingredients:

Hydrogented Polyisobutene, Water, Prunus Serrulata Flower Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Glyceyrl Stearate SE, Polysorbate 60, Isopropyl Myristate, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Cyclomethicone, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, PEG-40 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Sorbitan Stearate, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Chlorphenesin, Fragrance, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamol

Directions:

  1. Apply appropriate amount to face and massage for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Rinse product off with lukewarm water.

Review:

The packaging is simple and cute with a white base and pink cap. There is 182mL of product and it cost $10.00 on the Missha US website, which is inexpensive especially compared to the Banilla CO Clean it Zero ( 100mL of product and price ranges between $15-20).

Missha Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream Packaging

Missha has two more scents in this line: maylily and iris. I only purchased the cherry blossom scent, because that was what intrigued me the most. Unfortunately, there was no spatula that came with this product, so it can get unhygienic because you're constantly dipping your fingers in the tub.

Picture of product
The cleansing cream is white and has the same consistency and feeling as a lotion. Upon applying to my face, it glides over smoothly and is effective at removing the makeup. However,  I find myself scrubbing a little bit harder to remove the more stubborn makeup compared to the Baniila CO.  I also noticed that I often had to keep getting more product because the amount I grabbed the first time wasn't enough to clean my face.

Products from top to bottom: BB cream, liquid eyeliner, matte liquid lipstick, lip gloss, cream lipstick, and concealer.
This was taken while I was working the product to remove the makeup.
At this point, I was having to scrub a little harder to get rid of the matte liquid lipstick.

It isn't difficult to wash off the product, but when you do, it feels like there is a residue or film covering your face. But just to note that this is a cleansing cream, so you're supposed to follow up with a water based cleanser afterwards.  Because it's very similar to lotion,  it did make my face feel softer. When using this to remove my eye makeup, it doesn't sting, but it does blur my vision if it gets into my eyes.

The one major gripe I have about this product is the smell. I was hoping for a nice elegant cherry blossom scent, but instead I get a super strong scent of floral perfume. Honestly, it's so extremely pungent that the smell lingers even after washing my face with the water based cleanser. I'm not really sensitive or get triggered by scents easily, but I absolutely do not like the scent.  The scent pretty much outweighed any positive things I felt about the cleanser.

Even though this is less expensive than the Banilla CO, I'd rather spend the extra cash on the Banilla CO.  I'm not sure about the other scents in the line, but I think I'll pass on them. I'm going to try to finish this up so I can reorder my Banilla CO and maybe try out another cleansing balm/oil. I know I kept comparing this to the Banilla CO, but I was really impressed with the Banilla CO. The Missha Flower Bouquet Cleansing Cream just doesn't do it for me, so I don't recommend it.

Overall:

Pros:
Cons:
*Packaging is cute
*Inexpensive
*Effective at removing makeup
*Makes face feel softer
*Strong perfume scent
*Can be unhygienic because of packaging
*Takes a lot more product to remove makeup
*Can cause temporary blurred vision if a lot of product gets into eyes
